Facial aesthetics questions, answered
What does "facial aesthetics" actually mean?
It's the umbrella term for subtle, non-surgical treatments that refresh the face — mainly injectables like anti-wrinkle treatment and dermal fillers. The goal isn't to change how you look; it's to soften what's bothering you and let you look like a well-rested version of yourself.
Will I look overdone or "frozen"?
Not with us — that's rather the point. Emilee's style is deliberately understated, and every plan starts by talking through the result you actually want. Most people want to look like themselves on a good day, and that's exactly what we aim for.
How do I know which treatment I need?
You don't have to work that out on your own. At your free consultation Emilee assesses your face as a whole, listens to what's bothering you, and recommends what would genuinely help — sometimes anti-wrinkle, sometimes filler, sometimes a mix, and sometimes nothing at all.
Do the injections hurt?
Most people find them very manageable. The needles are fine, the doses small, and Emilee takes her time. There can be a quick scratch or slight pressure, but it's brief — and she'll always check you're comfortable before starting.
How long do results last?
It depends on the treatment. Anti-wrinkle results usually last around three to four months; dermal fillers can last anywhere from six months to over a year. We'll be honest about what to expect for whatever you're considering.
Is it safe, and who carries it out?
Every treatment is carried out by Emilee herself — an NMC-registered nurse with ten years' clinical experience — after a proper assessment. A medical background means suitability and safety come first, and she'll always tell you if something isn't right for you.
