My website & digital partner
The story behind my website
When I moved EMA Aesthetics onto a new website, I wanted it to feel like a visit to the clinic: calm, honest and led by a nurse. I asked MyDiro Digital, a web studio here in Staffordshire, to build it. They did a lovely job, and I'd like to thank them properly by explaining what went into it.
Shaped by the questions people ask
Before a single page was designed, MyDiro looked at what people around Stoke-on-Trent, Stone, Stafford and Newcastle-under-Lyme type into Google when they're thinking about a treatment, and at the searches my old site was already appearing for. That research decided the shape of the site. Each treatment has its own page, the towns my clients travel from have their own pages, and my blog answers the questions people ask before they book: how fillers work, how long lip filler lasts, what to do after anti-wrinkle treatment.
The longer guides are researched properly, and I read and check each one as a nurse before it's published. That's why you'll see a "Medically reviewed" note on them.
Medicine has rules, and the site follows them
Anti-wrinkle injections use a prescription-only medicine, and in the UK those can't be advertised to the public. MyDiro built that into the site from the start. You won't find a price or an offer against anti-wrinkle treatment anywhere on it. What you'll find instead is a free consultation, which is where any treatment with me should begin anyway. Guide prices for my other treatments are on the pricing page, and your plan and cost are always agreed when we meet.
They also helped me put together my Safety & Clinical Standards page: who treats you, how prescribing works, insurance, consent, the products I use and what happens if something isn't right. It stayed hidden from Google until I had checked every point, and only what I'd confirmed was published. When the wording about prescribing wasn't quite precise enough, it was corrected.
It looks like me because it is me
Wherever possible, the photos are real: me, my treatment room and my own work. The film at the top of the homepage is me at work in the clinic, and the logo is my own watercolour EMA mark. The Instagram photos on the homepage are kept on my own site rather than loaded from Instagram, so the page stays quick and light.
Booking that belongs to the clinic
My old site relied on an outside booking service. MyDiro replaced it with booking built just for EMA. You choose a treatment, a day and a morning or afternoon time, and on a phone the page guides you down from one step to the next. A confirmation email comes from my own clinic address, and I'm told at the same moment. A spam check sits quietly behind the form, and most people never see it.
Behind all that is a private dashboard where I manage bookings and enquiries, set my treatments and opening hours, and email clients from the clinic address. And if you're not sure what you need, the Treatment Visualiser lets you tap an area of the face, see which treatments focus there, and send me the plan you've put together.
An assistant that knows where to stop
There's an AI assistant on the site that answers general questions at any hour: what a treatment involves, the areas it's used for, general aftercare. It's careful about the line between information and advice. If a question is about you personally, your skin, your health or your medication, it explains that a free consultation with me is the right place for it. It doesn't quote fixed prices or doses, it doesn't promise results, and if you ask, it will tell you it's an AI and not me. If you'd like me to get back to you, it can pass your details straight to me. If you'd rather message me yourself, the WhatsApp button is on every page.
Checked every morning
A booking form that looks fine but quietly fails is worse than no form at all. So every morning the site tests its own booking system, the same way a real booking travels, checks that the main pages are up, and sends an alert if anything is wrong.
When I moved from my old website, the addresses people had saved or found on Google were kept or redirected, so nobody landed on a dead end. The dashboard is locked to approved accounts only, there's a plain-English privacy policy explaining what's collected and why, and the colours and text were checked so the site is easy to read.
Looked after, not left
A website isn't finished on launch day. MyDiro look after mine. They keep an eye on how the site is found on Google, and those figures sit in my dashboard too. When I started offering skin boosters and masseter treatment, the new pages went up with the same care as everything else. That leaves me free to concentrate on my clients.
Thank you
I wanted a website that shows people the clinic as it really is, and MyDiro gave me that. Thank you. If you run a clinic or a local business in Staffordshire and want a website built with the same care, I'm very happy to recommend MyDiro Digital.
